Good news for Chelsea as PSG handed Cup final blow after key players get banned

According to a recent report, it has been stated that Paris Saint-Germain faces a significant setback amid the tournament final after their impressive win over Real Madrid.

In the semifinals, PSG triumphed over Real with a score of over 3 goals on Wednesday night, booking their spot in the final on Sunday against the West London Giants, who defeated Brazilian team Fluminense on Tuesday.

The UEFA Champions League champions opened the scoring early, with Fabian Ruiz finding the net in just the sixth minute. Three minutes later, Dembele capitalized on a mistake by Rudiger to extend his team’s lead.

Ruiz added another goal, bringing the score to 3-0 before halftime, and Goncalo Ramos completed the scoring three minutes before the final whistle.

It is important to highlight that Real’s loss to PSG marks the end of their Club journey, as they will not participate in the third-place playoff.

Meanwhile, the Ligue 1 giants are just one match away from clinching their fifth title in the last 12 months, having already secured four trophies in the 2024/25 season, including the esteemed Champions League.

The report indicates that Spanish coach Luis Enrique will be missing two crucial players for PSG’s clash against Chelsea at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Defenders Pacho and Lucas Hernandez are both suspended and will not be available for Enrique during the match against Chelsea on Sunday.

The report reveals that both Pacho and Lucas Hernandez received red cards in PSG’s quarter-final win over Bayern Munich. Pacho was shown a straight red card by Anthony Taylor for a studs-up challenge on Leon Goretzka.

Conversely, Hernandez was also given a red card for elbowing Raphael Guerreiro in the jaw in front of the EPL match officiator. On this note, it has been confirmed that both players received two-match suspensions.
