Super Eagles star and the newly appointed General Manager of Kano Pillars Football Club, Ahmed Musa, has committed to revitalizing the club and restoring its status as one of Africa’s leading football institutions.
Musa’s commitment is articulated in a statement released by the club’s Media and Communications Directorate on Tuesday in Kano.
During a familiarization meeting with the club’s Chairman, Alhaji Ali Umar, and other board members on Monday, Musa expressed his willingness to collaborate with all stakeholders to enhance the club’s prospects.
The former Leicester City and CSKA Moscow forward referred to Kano Pillars as one of Nigeria’s most accomplished football clubs, emphasizing that its recent difficulties must be addressed through collective effort and strategic planning.
“Kano Pillars is our club and one of the most successful in Nigeria, but in recent years, the narrative has shifted,” Musa stated.
“I want to assure everyone present that with your support and the backing of the board members, I will do everything within my power to reposition the club and elevate it to one of the finest not only in Africa but on a global scale.
“Having played here and with the experience I acquired in Europe, I am confident that I can make a significant contribution to help the club realize its full potential,” Musa remarked.
