The North London club, Arsenal, is looking to finalize the deal for Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze after personal terms have been agreed upon, as reported by transfer expert Ben Jacobs.
The talented young playmaker has emerged as a key transfer target for the Gunners after an impressive season with the Eagles, who won the FA Cup in May.
Statistically, Eberechi scored in the final against Manchester City and contributed to 25 goals in 43 matches across all competitions during the 2024/25 season.
Reports indicate that Eze has a release clause in his contract with Crystal Palace, estimated at £68 million, and is being pursued by both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
Mikel Arteta’s squad is leading the chase for Eze’s signature, and the player is keen to make the move, despite having played a crucial role in guiding Palace into Europe for the first time in the club’s history.
This summer may prove to be difficult for the Eagles, who are also wary of interest from Premier League champions Liverpool in their club captain, Marc Guehi.
Crystal Palace is expected to stand firm in negotiations for Eze and will likely advise Arsenal — or any other interested parties — to either activate his release clause or explore other options.

Regardless of their stance, Arsenal is expected to try to negotiate a fee lower than £68 million or to arrange a deal in that range with add-ons and staggered payments.
Transfer journalist Ben Jacobs believes an official offer is imminent after Arsenal presented their project to Eze over the weekend.
“With Eze, he is certainly interested in a transfer, and there was a meeting over the weekend where senior Arsenal staff were present, outlining their proposal to Eze,” Jacobs told talkSPORT.
