The Chairman also announced the dates for several key elections and electoral activities scheduled over the next year. These include bye-elections in 12 states on August 16, 2025, the Anambra State Governorship election on November 8, 2025, the FCT Area Council elections on February 21, 2026, and the Ekiti and Osun State Governorship elections in June and August 2026, respectively.
