M.I Abaga Regrets Supporting APC, Cites Unmet Expectations

‎Popular Nigerian rapper Jude Abaga, widely known as M.I Abaga, has openly expressed regret for supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC), stating that the ruling party has fallen short of expectations.

‎The award-winning artist, speaking in a recent podcast, admitted that backing the APC in 2015 was a mistake. He explained that his support at the time stemmed from his belief that the then-ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was deeply corrupt.

‎M.I, however, lamented that the APC has failed to deliver the change he had envisioned. “I tweeted about the [herdsmen] attacks in Benue, and many people reminded me, ‘But M.I, you supported APC.’ Yes, I did, because at that time, I believed the PDP government was very corrupt,” he said.
