The Enforcers of Good Governance, a civil society organization, has applauded key political stakeholders for their role in restoring peace and stability to Rivers State following months of political crisis.
Speaking in Port Harcourt, the Convener of the group, Dr. Kingsley Ogu, hailed the efforts of Governor Siminalayi Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Chief (Barr.) Nyesom Wike described the resolution of the political conflict as a pivotal step toward development, progress, and inclusive governance.
“It is truly fulfilling to witness Rivers State back on track, unified and focused on the actualization of our shared prosperity. The path ahead is one of growth and collective responsibility,” Dr. Ogu stated.
He praised Wike for playing a “fatherly role” in ensuring a peaceful outcome. He commended Governor Fubara and his deputy, Professor Ngozi Nma Odu, for their “courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the people of Rivers State.”

“Your bravery in the face of adversity has been a beacon of hope for all who yearn for good governance and accountable leadership.”
The group also expressed appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his timely and decisive intervention in resolving the crisis.
Additionally, Dr. Ogu commended the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Martin Amaewhule and his colleagues for their role in embracing peace and putting the state’s interest above personal or political differences.
The Enforcers of Good Governance called on all citizens and stakeholders to continue promoting peace, dialogue, and unity to ensure sustainable development in Rivers State.
