Popular Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has responded after the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) declared him wanted. The agency accused him of rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking.

NAPTIP shared on social media, asking the public to help locate him. But Darlington, whose real name is Darlington Okoye, said he is not worried. He stated that NAPTIP has “no right” to declare him wanted and that his lawyer will deal with the issue.

The case started after Darlington failed to appear for questioning over a controversial Instagram Live video. He had asked to reschedule the meeting to June 26, 2025, saying he was busy, but NAPTIP only gave him a few extra days.

Despite the warrant, Darlington remains calm, calling NAPTIP’s action an “embarrassment” to themselves.
