Rivers United FC Appoints Yemi Daniel Olanrewaju as New Chief Coach

Rivers United Football Club has announced the appointment of Yemi Daniel Olanrewaju as its new Chief Coach, effective immediately. Coach Yemi replaces Evans Ogenyi, whose contract expired.

Yemi Daniel Olanrewaju is a 33-year-old (born May 2, 1992) seasoned coach with a proven track record. He previously served as the head coach of Enyimba FC, where he demonstrated his commitment, expertise, and leadership qualities. Notably, he has worked closely with Technical Manager Finidi George, with whom he shares a cordial relationship, having collaborated at Enyimba FC.

Coach Evans Ogenyi’s departure marks a new era for Rivers United, with Yemi Daniel Olanrewaju poised to bring fresh perspectives and strategies to the team. Technical Manager Finidi George welcomed Yemi to the team, expressing optimism about the new chapter in Rivers United’s history. “Welcome to Rivers United, Yema!” said Charles Mayuku, Media Officer, Rivers United FC.
