Gunmen Attack OSPAC Office in Ahoada East, Kill SIS Operative

Panic erupted in Ahoada Town late Monday night following a deadly gun attack by unidentified gunmen near the Ahoada East Local Government Council Secretariat.

According to initial reports, the gunmen launched a surprise assault on the office of the local vigilante group, OSPAC, located behind the council secretariat. The gunfire, which echoed through the town, sent residents scrambling for safety.

Tragically, Corporal Friday Francis, an operative of the State Intelligence Service (SIS), was shot and killed during the attack. His death occurred within the vicinity of the council secretariat, heightening fears over the security situation in the area.

As of the time of this report, the identities of the attackers remain unknown, and no group has claimed responsibility for the incident. Security forces have since moved in to secure the area and are currently conducting investigations. Residents are advised to stay indoors and remain vigilant as authorities work to restore order.
