Remo Stars Will Win CAF Champions League- Coach

Daniel Ogunmodede Sets Ambitious Goal to Lead Remo Stars to CAF Champions League Triumph

Daniel Ogunmodede, the technical adviser of Remo Stars, has boldly declared his ultimate ambition to guide the club to victory in the prestigious CAF Champions League. Fresh off a remarkable achievement last season, where he steered Remo Stars to their maiden Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title, Ogunmodede is now focused on conquering the continental stage and etching the club’s name in African football history.

In an interview with Super FM, Ogunmodede expressed his determination, stating, “Personally, as the Remo Stars coach today, my goal is to win the CAF Champions League.” This resolute vision underscores his commitment to elevating the Ikenne-based club to new heights, building on the momentum of their historic NPFL triumph.

The league title marked a significant milestone for Remo Stars, as it was the first major trophy in the club’s history, cementing Ogunmodede’s reputation as a transformative figure in Nigerian football.

As Remo Stars prepare for their second appearance in the CAF Champions League next season, expectations are high. The team’s previous foray into the competition ended disappointingly with a first-round exit, but Ogunmodede is determined to surpass that performance. His leadership and tactical acumen will be crucial as Remo Stars aim to navigate the challenges of Africa’s premier club competition and compete against some of the continent’s footballing giants.

It’s worth noting that Enyimba of Aba remains the only NPFL club to have lifted the CAF Champions League trophy, achieving the feat in the past. Ogunmodede’s ambition to emulate and surpass this success reflects his belief in Remo Stars’ potential to break new ground and bring glory to Nigerian football on the continental stage. With a clear vision and a talented squad, Ogunmodede is poised to lead Remo Stars on an exciting journey in pursuit of African football’s ultimate prize.
