The University of Port Harcourt is set to celebrate its Golden Jubilee Anniversary and 35th Combined Convocation Ceremony, marking years of enlightenment and self-reliance.
In a statement released by the University, the landmark week-long event is scheduled for Monday, July 21st to Sunday, July 27th, 2025, will feature Anniversary Public Lecture, Convocation Ceremony, Cultural Showcase amongst other activities earmarked for the celebration.

According to the statement, the University has established a Degree Result Verification Committee to begin vetting results from sixteen departments, which are currently being processed, with five additional departments expected to submit their results.
The statement added that the Golden Jubilee milestone celebrates the vision and transformations that have made the University of Port Harcourt one of Africa’s leading institutions
