Davido Allegedly Attacked by Security at Ibiza Nightclub

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his team were reportedly involved in a violent confrontation with security personnel at the renowned Hi Ibiza nightclub on Saturday night. The singer took to Instagram on Sunday morning to share disturbing details of the incident, claiming the club’s security team attempted to harm him and his crew.

Posting photos of the aggressive-looking security staff, Davido vowed to pursue justice, writing: “@Hiibizaofficial security just tried to kill me and my team!!!” and “All of y’all goin down!!!” The musician had been vacationing in Ibiza with his manager, Asa Asika, and close associate Cubana Chiefpriest, sharing lavish moments from their trip on social media before the altercation occurred.

Adding to the shocking claims, Davido’s cousin, Tunji Adeleke—Chairman of the Osun State Local Government Service Commission—revealed he was nearly choked to death during the incident. The group had travelled to Ibiza for Asa Asika’s after-wedding celebrations following his recent Nigerian nuptials.

In a chilling post on X (formerly Twitter), Tunji described the attack as a near-death experience, stating: “All because my brother Asa wanted to do a nice after-wedding celebration with friends and family? @hiibizaofficial security almost just killed me! Almost choked me to death. My life flashed before my eyes!!! Closest I’ve been!!! God!!!”

Details surrounding the incident remain unclear as investigations continue.
