The Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) and the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) have partnered to provide paralegal training for police officers in Rivers State. The training aims to enhance the officers’ capacity to effectively handle gender-based violence (GBV) cases.
Commissioner of Police, Rivers State, CP Olugbenga Adepoju, stated that the training aligns with the Inspector General of Police’s directive to equip officers with best practices in handling GBV cases.
