Chief Tonobok Okowa, the re-elected President of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN), has announced the appointment of new board members.
Dr. Samuel Kolawole Oredipe, Vice-Chairman of the Bayelsa State Athletics Association, will serve as the Auditor of the Federation.
Dr. Oredipe brings a wealth of experience to the role, having founded Samkay Athletics Club and previously competed as a middle-distance athlete.

He currently holds positions as Assistant Director of News at the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria and Director-General of New Media for the Bayelsa State Governor.
Other notable appointments include Dr. Nneka Nkem Anibieze as Chief Operating Officer, Barrister Bamidele Edokpaye as Legal Adviser, and Mr. Babajide Odedeji as Safeguarding Officer.
These appointments were announced in Abuja following President Okowa’s oath of office for his second term.
