Abdallah Resigned from His Position at Kano Pillars

RAMBO

Kano Pillars FC wishes to announce that its Technical Adviser, Usman Abdallah, has resigned from his position effective immediately due to personal circumstances.

The coach communicated his decision to the club management, indicating that a significant opportunity has arisen which he feels cannot be pursued alongside his current duties without jeopardising either role. After thorough discussions, both parties concluded that it would be in the best interest of the club’s future for him to step down.

Abdallah was appointed just weeks prior to the start of the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season and successfully guided Sai Masu Gida to a commendable 9th-place finish, accumulating 53 points from 38 matches, reflecting an improvement of six points from the previous season.

In a recorded message directed to the fans, Abdallah conveyed his appreciation and shared heartfelt sentiments, stating, “Due to an important opportunity that has presented itself, I have made the decision to resign as Technical Adviser of this esteemed club.

“Although I am stepping down, I will continue to support Kano Pillars FC from a distance and provide guidance whenever necessary. This club represents our pride, and I am always eager to contribute to its success in any capacity.

“I sincerely thank the management for the opportunity to lead this historic club and wish the team all the best in its future endeavours.

“What I will miss the most are the fans; their passion, resilience, and unwavering support were the primary reasons I accepted this role. Thank you for everything.”

The management, under the guidance of Chairman Alhaji Ali Muhammad Umar, extends its heartfelt appreciation to Coach Usman Abdallah for his dedication and professionalism during his tenure with the club. We wish him the very best in his future endeavours.
