NOA Launches 2025 Democracy Day Dash Quiz

The National Orientation Agency NOA has introduced the Democracy Dash Quiz to enable Nigerians showcase their talents as part of activities to mark the 2025 Democracy Day.

The agency in a statement made available to Radio Nigeria in Asaba says the quiz will provide citizens an avenue to contribute to the Democracy Day celebration through engaging, educational and rewarding online competition.

It notes that the three day quiz will feature fun filled and interactive sessions, scheduled for 11th, 12th, and 13th of June, from 9:00am – 4 :00 pm daily.

The National Orientation Agency enjoins participants to visit its website or download the NOA mobile app ‘Mobilizer’ from the Play Store or App Store. Register and log in, click on ” Quiz” at the bottom of your screen to participate.

It adds that successfull paricipants stand a chance to win from ten million naira airtime prize pool, and urges contestants to manage their time wisely.

Meanwhile, residents of Asaba have expressed divergent views on Nigeria’s 26 years of democracy.

Many applauded past and present political leaders for efforts made to sustain and promote democratic values, cultures, and policies through strengthening of democratic institutions, some others frowned at the sufferings in the country which they blamed on tough economic reforms.

They appealed to both the federal and state governments to prioritize the security of Nigerians through strengthening of the nation’s security architecture.

In Delta State, there is no activity to mark Democracy Day, as many residents remain indoors amidst patrol and surveillance by security personnel to forestall breakdown of law and order
