‘There Shall Be No Compromise!’— Mr. Macaroni Declares to Politicians

Popular comedian, actor, and content creator Adebowale Adedayo, widely known as Mr. Macaroni, has firmly stated that he has consistently turned down offers to associate with politicians at all levels of government—federal, state, and local. He reiterated his stance, declaring that he will never compromise his principles by engaging with political figures.

The social media personality made these remarks while addressing comparisons between himself and chess champion Tunde Onakoya, who recently faced backlash for visiting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Mr. Macaroni emphasized that he should not be seen as a benchmark for other celebrities, noting that everyone has the right to their own choices.

In a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote: “I have said this times without number! I am nobody’s Hero!! I am not a saint!!! Na all of us get our own for body! APC Rascals have always pushed the narrative that I have something against anyone that visits Political Leaders and I have always made it clear that I have nothing against it. I have never criticized anyone for doing so.

“That I don’t care for Politicians doesn’t make me the good guy. And it certainly doesn’t make those that do bad. It’s a matter of preference. It is unfair to hold others by these standards.

“I have tweeted this thing severally. Somehow, APC Rascals will still want to find a way to drag my name into their misery and misfortune.”

He further revealed that he has received numerous invitations from political quarters, stating: “And yes to the APC rascals asking: Invitations choke on different levels!!! Local ooo, State ooo, Federal ooo… The list long!

“Invitations you people are slaving for!!! But I promise, you will continue to cry, weep and gnash your teeth because all will be continuously rejected!!! There shall be no compromise!”
