Manchester United have included OGC Nice goalkeeper Marcin Bułka in their expanding list of potential targets for the position, as reported by Ben Jacobs. The 25-year-old Polish international is among several candidates being closely evaluated by the Red Devils as they contemplate their long-term strategy for the goalkeeping role.
Although Andre Onana is currently the first-choice goalkeeper for Man United, his position is no longer assured. Club officials have not yet informed Onana that he is no longer needed; internal discussions are taking place regarding whether the Cameroonian will continue as the undisputed No. 1 for the upcoming season.
Onana transferred to United from Inter Milan in 2023 for a substantial fee but has faced a challenging period at Old Trafford, making critical errors in both domestic and European matches. Despite demonstrating signs of improvement later in the season, concerns remain about his consistency and fit within manager Ruben Amorim’s system.

Bułka has previously played for Chelsea and PSG but has thrived in France’s top division with consistent playing time. His outstanding performances have caught the attention of United scouts, who have been monitoring his displays in recent months.
United are also interested in Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martínez, who has been rumored to be considering a summer transfer away from Villa Park. The World Cup-winning Argentine is valued not only at Old Trafford but also by Atletico Madrid, which adds further competition for his signature.
Martinez offers experience, leadership, and a strong mentality for high-stakes matches, qualities that United may find essential if they decide to part ways with Onana or pursue a direct upgrade.
