The Administrator of Opobo Nkoro Local Government Area, Senibo Frederick Apiafi, has directed the immediate provision of electricity and toilet facilities to the senior secondary section of Community Secondary School, Opobo Town.

Senibo Apiafi, who gave the directive when he visited the school in Opobo Town, assured that though he has limited time to administer the council, he would do whatever is in his powers to alleviate the challenges faced by the people of the area, especially school children whom he described as the hope of the government.

The administrator also directed the immediate deployment of Opobo Nkoro internal security personnel to be stationed within the vicinity of the school, especially at night, to forestall incidents of burglary and theft.

Conducting the administrator and his entourage round the school, the principal of the school, Mrs. Lovelyn Tams Oko-Jaja appreciated the administrator for the visit, pleading with him to give necessary assistance to the school.

It would be recalled that the senior secondary of Community Secondary school, Opobo Town, is not linked to any source of electricity, even as the toilet facilities in the school have remained unusable for years. On the entourage of the administrator during the visit were council officers, including the Director of Education of the council, Mrs. Obed Whyte.
