Gov. Fubara Honours Chief Mike Elechi at Housewarming Ceremony

Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, on Saturday, June 7, 2025, attended the housewarming ceremony of renowned statesman and businessman, Chief Mike Elechi, in Elele, Ikwerre Local Government Area.

The Governor, who was warmly received by Chief Elechi and a large crowd of supporters, was given a tour of the impressive residence before being hosted at a grand reception.

In a show of appreciation and solidarity, the Ikwerre chapter of the Simplified Movement presented Governor Fubara with a commemorative photo frame.

Governor Fubara was accompanied by prominent stakeholders and leaders from across Rivers State, including former Governor Sir Celestine Omehia, former Green Eagles star Chief Adokiye Amiesimaka, Chief Ambrose Nwuzi, Dr. Sam Sam Jaja, and Rt. Hon. Edison Ehie, among others.

The event underscored the governor’s continued engagement with grassroots leaders and influential figures in the state.
