Globacom to Boost Internet Access with 6 New Masts in RSU

Rivers State University, (RSU) has partnered with Globacom Limited for the provision of hyper-internet connectivity within the Nkpolu-Oroworukwo campus of the school.

‎Speaking during a meeting with the management of the school, the Regional Head of the Telecommunications company, Mr. Anthony Akindele, disclosed that RSU is the 10th University to partner with Globacom but the only institution where 6 Network Mast has been approved for improved connectivity.

‎The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Isaac Zeb-Obipi, in his address, thanked the Globacom Delegation for choosing to partner with the school in the provision of fiber optics cables and network masts to enhance network access. He also paid for 1500 SIM cards to be distributed within the school environment.



‎In attendance were the Telecommunications Regional Managers, Consultants, and Management team of the University who also participated in the activation of the Glo network at the University.
