“Then you actually come-up with a proposals that will engage the youths. Positively it should also get to the grassroot level. Now who are those that deserve it? Those at the community level, those at the grassroot level. What impact do they make? Now government needs to make access to asses their programmes and see how they would be able reach the expected set of people”, he said.

Comrade Imaebe blamed poor government as the main reason of youth vices in the society. He advocated the equipping of educational institutions to inculcate technical skills into students at early stage of their lives to encourage self-reliance. “Now in some of those countries mentioned like India and China they ensure that skills are being taught in both the primary and secondary levels.
How many of our primary and secondary schools can offer the opportunity to study and also acquire skills. Even in our engineering courses how many of our engineering courses have the required equipment? You can as well do both the theoretical and practical aspects of engineering”, he stressed. The National President of South South Youth Initiative warned youths of the dangers of internet fraud, yahoo and added that it is not beneficial to any individual.
