Stanley Ontop Addresses Rumors Surrounding Alexx Ekubo’s Disappearance

Nollywood actor Stanley Ontop has provided an update regarding the sudden absence of his colleague, Alexx Ekubo, following widespread speculation about the latter’s well-being.

Rumors had circulated suggesting that Ekubo was grappling with severe health issues after months of inactivity on social media. Investigations revealed that his last online activity was a post made on December 30, 2024.

Many believed it was linked to his breakup from his fiancee, when thereafter she publicly stated her reasons for the breakup being because she feared he was gay, after he refused to have sex with her in their 5 years relationship.

The speculation fueled concern among fans and fellow celebrities, prompting calls for clarity on his condition. However, in a recent Instagram post on Tuesday, Stanley Ontop dismissed the rumors, assuring the public that Ekubo is in good health and thriving.

Ontop explained that Ekubo chose to step away from social media due to its toxic environment, emphasizing that the actor needed time away from work to focus on his mental well-being. He also highlighted the seriousness of depression, urging fans to be mindful of its impact.

In his caption, Ontop wrote: “If you all remember in February, I posted his picture and was asking about him. @alexxekubo is very fine and he’s doing great. He just took time from social media and work. The media was too toxic on him, so he decided to give you guys some space. Alex is good 100%.”

He further added: “Alex is coming back to this media strong and happy. Alex is not sick as being circulated by some mischievous elements. Alex, we await your return. Depression is real.”
