Sole Administrator Inspects Community School In Obio/Akpor

The Sole Administrator of Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Dr. Clifford Ndu Walter, paid an inspection visit to Community Secondary School, Mgbaraja in Ogbogoro.

The visit is in line with his commitment to reform and enhance learning environment across the LGA.

During the inspection, Walter expressed serious concern over the deplorable condition of the school.

He emphasised strong dismay on the acute shortage of seats which has left many students forced to sit on the floor during lessons.

Walter described the situation as unacceptable and assured that his administration would urgently provide additional desks and chairs to ensure a more conducive and dignified learning environment.

Accompanied by the Secretary of the Obio/Akpor Education Authority, Mr. Christopher C. Amadi, the Obio/Akpor administrator toured the school premises to assess the extent of the deterioration.

Reacting what he observed, Walter emphasized the immediate need for renovations and infrastructural improvements.

He reaffirmed that the welfare of students and the overall quality of education remain top priorities for his administration.
