Explosion Rocks NOBPET Filling Station In Rivers

A gas explosion occured at a fuel station near the Air Force Junction in Port Harcourt on Friday morning, resulting in considerable damage to nearby properties.

The explosion, which was audible from several kilometers away, ignited a raging fire at the facility. A rights activist, Mr Solomon Lenu, took to his social media to send a save our soul message, calling on the state fire service to act swiftly.

Emergency teams from the Rivers State Fire Service arrived promptly to tackle the flames and prevent further spread.

Preliminary reports indicates that multiple properties have been consumed by the fire, but no injuries have been reported.
