FG Launches N50 million Housing Loan

The Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board (FGSHLB) has partnered with the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI) to offer housing loans of up to N50 million to federal public servants.

The initiative, announced in a notice signed by FGSHLB Executive Secretary Salamatu Ladi Ahmed, aims to boost home ownership among government workers. The loan will be provided at a high single-digit interest rate and will be repayable over a period of 25 years.

The scheme is open to employees in Federal Parastatals, the Military, Paramilitary agencies, and the Police. It is designed to promote stability, job satisfaction, and overall well-being among public servants.

Interested individuals are advised to visit the FGSHLB office on the 10th and 11th floors of Block B, Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF), for further inquiries.

Obiechina Ngozi, Head of Information and Public Relations, confirmed the announcement on May 12, 2025.
