The game ignited just seconds in when Inter’s Marcus Thuram capitalized on a Denzel Dumfries assist to fire home a precise opener, silencing the home crowd. Inter’s early control grew in the 21st minute as Dumfries, this time assisted by Francesco Acerbi, converted an acrobatic overhead kick to make it 2-0.

The second half saw Inter retake the lead in the 64th minute through Dumfries’ second goal, this time from a Hakan Çalhanoğlu assist, following a corner. Çalhanoğlu had earlier been booked in the 59th minute for a foul. However, Barcelona responded instantly when Raphinha’s powerful strike forced an own goal from Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer in the 65th minute, tying the game at 3-3.
Despite further intensity, including a yellow card for Barcelona’s Pau Cubarsí in the 70th minute, neither team could find a winner, leaving the tie finely poised after a dramatic draw.
It was also a thing of celebration as boy-wonder Lamine Yamal recorded his 100th Appearance for Barcelona just at the age of 17, this highlights his importance to the club.
