Barcelona And Inter Play Out A Nutcracker.

In a thrilling Champions League Semi-Finals encounter on Wednesday, Inter Milan and Barcelona battled to a gripping 3-3 stalemate at Camp Nou, captivating fans with a rollercoaster of goals and momentum swings.

The game ignited just seconds in when Inter’s Marcus Thuram capitalized on a Denzel Dumfries assist to fire home a precise opener, silencing the home crowd. Inter’s early control grew in the 21st minute as Dumfries, this time assisted by Francesco Acerbi, converted an acrobatic overhead kick to make it 2-0.

Barcelona fought back swiftly. Lamine Yamal pulled one back in the 24th minute, reigniting the home fans’ hopes, before Ferran Torres, set up by Raphinha, leveled the score at 2-2 in the 38th minute, ensuring a breathless first half.

The second half saw Inter retake the lead in the 64th minute through Dumfries’ second goal, this time from a Hakan Çalhanoğlu assist, following a corner. Çalhanoğlu had earlier been booked in the 59th minute for a foul. However, Barcelona responded instantly when Raphinha’s powerful strike forced an own goal from Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer in the 65th minute, tying the game at 3-3.

Despite further intensity, including a yellow card for Barcelona’s Pau Cubarsí in the 70th minute, neither team could find a winner, leaving the tie finely poised after a dramatic draw.

It was also a thing of celebration as boy-wonder Lamine Yamal recorded his 100th Appearance for Barcelona just at the age of 17, this highlights his importance to the club.

In other worrying tale, star defender Jules Kounde was dealt an injury blow as he picked up an injury in the champions league game on Wednesday night.
