Port Harcourt Tech Expo 2025 Reschedules Date for Event

The organizer of the Port Harcourt Tech Expo 2025, Tech Nexus Ltd, has moved the event dates from May 27th and 28th to June 5th and 6th, 2025.

Belema George, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tech Nexus Ltd, disclosed the change on Wednesday but confirmed that the venue would still be the EUI Centre in Port Harcourt.

The expo, themed “Emergence,” aims to examine the swift advancement of technology and its influence on industries, businesses, and communities.

Attendees can look forward to engaging expert speakers, interactive exhibitions, and stimulating discussions designed to offer an immersive experience centered on emerging innovations and transformative trends.

George expressed optimism that the date change would enhance attendance and improve the overall experience.

He stated, “Our aim is to create a significant event that unites tech enthusiasts, industry leaders, and innovators. By shifting the event to June 5th and 6th, we can refine logistics, increase engagement, and ensure that everyone has an exceptional experience.”

The Port Harcourt Tech Expo 2025 will include industry experts, government representatives, startups, tech professionals, and investors, promoting collaborations that will advance technology in Nigeria and internationally.”

George recalled that the 2024 Port Harcourt Tech Expo, which took place in April last year, saw a remarkable turnout and engagement from tech enthusiasts and professionals.

He mentioned that last year’s event recorded impressive online registrations totaling 6,053 individuals, along with another 550 registrations occurring on-site.

He highlighted that the total physical attendance from last year reached approximately 4,900, indicating strong local interest and participation.

He also noted that virtual attendance was extraordinary, with around 300,000 individuals participating online, showcasing the expo’s wide-reaching appeal and accessibility.
