Police Declares UPTH Staff Missing In Rivers

The Rivers State Police Command has declared a 38-year-old Mr. Elochukwu Humphrey missing. Elochukwu, a staff member of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, UPTH, was declared missing on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, in a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, Grace Iringe-koko.

The police spokesperson revealed that “Mr. Elochukwu Humphery hails from Ozubulu in the Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State, but lives at Ugboma Lodge in the UPTH quarters of Aluu.”

Mr Elochukwu is 6.3ft tall, speaks Igbo and English fluently.”

According to Irinke-Koko, “he left home on December 23, 2024, to an unknown destination, all efforts made to trace his whereabouts proved abortive.

“Any person with useful information as to the whereabouts of Mr Humphrey should contact Mr Jamanze Chijioke on phone numbers 07038446662, 08039428774, 07063840331 or report to the nearest Police Station or call security number, 08032003514.”
