Dumo Lulu-Briggs Supports Street Children in Port Harcourt’s GRA Area

The Governorship candidate of the Action Accord Party in the 2023 general election, Dumo Lulu Briggs, has expressed concern over the growing number of street children in the new GRA area of Port Harcourt.
 
In an interview with our correspondent, Chief Briggs said in order to put the children off the street, he has provided accommodation for some of the young teenagers without parents littering Casablanca area of GRA and also enrolled them into schools on scholarship.
 
He also said that he provided grants to indigent parents of some of the children to start up businesses for them to be self-reliant.

Our correspondent spoke with some of the children, who said they now have a sense of belonging. 
 
Also, a parent of a child appreciated God and also Chief Lulu Briggs for his kind gesture, adding that it has not been easy raising a child considering the kind of Job he does.
 
Dumo Lulu-Briggs is committed to making a positive impact in his community, and his efforts have earned him recognition, including awards for his leadership and philanthropy.
