Barcelona Dismantles Dortmund

Barcelona dominated Borussia Dortmund with a 4-0 victory in the Champions League quarterfinal first leg. The win was fueled by impressive goals from Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski (brace), and Lamine Yamal.

Raphinha opened the scoring by tapping in Pau Cubarsi’s flick-on, showcasing his clinical finishing. Lewandowski, a former Dortmund striker, doubled the lead with a brace, highlighting his ruthless instincts in front of goal. Yamal sealed the win with a composed finish, demonstrating his growing confidence and skill.

The comprehensive victory gives Barcelona a significant advantage ahead of the second leg, with Dortmund facing an uphill task to overturn the deficit. The result showcases Barcelona’s attacking prowess and depth, with Raphinha, Lewandowski, and Yamal leading the charge

Raphinha made history with his performance against Borussia Dortmund, scoring a goal and providing assists for Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal in Barcelona’s 4-0 win. This brings his total goal involvements in the Champions League this season to 19 (12 goals and 7 assists in 11 games), matching Lionel Messi’s record from the 2011-2012 campaign.

Raphinha’s impressive form has seen him become a key player for Barcelona, and his ability to contribute to goals consistently has drawn comparisons to Messi’s prolific season. With 50 goal contributions in all competitions this season, Raphinha is having a standout campaign.

The win over Dortmund puts Barcelona in a strong position to reach the Champions League semi-finals, barring a dramatic comeback from the German side in the second leg. With their attacking prowess and defensive solidity, Barcelona are confident of progressing to the next stage of the competition.
