Niger Delta Peace Advocate Urges Rivers State Administrator to Prioritize People’s Needs Amidst Crisis

Niger Delta Peace Advocate and political analyst, Mr. Christian Lekia, has advised the sole administrator of Rivers State to prioritize the needs of the people, while remaining unbiased in his decision-making.

Mr. Lekia, during an interview with our correspondent, urged the sole administrator not to favour any person above others in the state.

He emphasized that the people of Rivers State should not turn their back on the sole administrator but rather work with him to address the state’s challenges.

Mr. Lekia stressed that the president has a crucial role to play in resolving the crisis in Rivers State by bringing together all parties involved, facilitating a discussion, and proffering a lasting solution.

He also strongly condemned the state of emergency, arguing that the people’s mandate had been taken away from them and that the governor they had elected had been unfairly removed from office, leaving them without a representative.
