Rivers Empowers Private School Teachers with Digital Skills Training

“we are in a digital age such that if you are not connected,  you will be left behind.  AI is gaining ground, and if you fold your hands, technology will take your means of livelihood from you. Those who are not skilled up will not be able to cope in the coming years,” Chukwuma stated.

The Commissioner also unveiled a parenting guide titled Parenting Code: Shaping Future Leaders, developed by the Ministry to support parents in understanding modern parenting challenges.

He commended Governor Siminalayi Fubara for his commitment to education reforms, which prioritize both teacher development and student welfare.

State Chairman of NAPPS, Comrade Sunday Ada-fe Jaja, praised the initiative, noting that this was the third batch of training since its inception in December 2024.

According to him, feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive, with many teachers reporting significant improvements in their teaching methods.
