Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has voluntarily turned himself in to the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Yaba.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the development on Wednesday, stating, “Portable just turned himself in at the SCID Yaba. We have contacted Ogun State Police Command to come pick him up.”

Portable has been in the spotlight for various controversies, including his recent claim of undergoing psychiatric treatment in Ogun State. However, the police have dismissed this assertion, maintaining that he remains wanted for an ongoing investigation.
His legal troubles stem from an incident involving officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development. The officials were reportedly attacked while carrying out an enforcement exercise at Odogwu Bar, located in Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota.
Following the attack, the Ogun State Police Command declared Portable wanted, leading to the ongoing pursuit that has now resulted in his surrender to law enforcement authorities in Lagos.
