Map of Rivers State

Organizers of the Education Champions League (ECL) have opened registration for the 2025 quiz competition, inviting secondary schools across Rivers State to compete for academic glory.

This annual contest challenges students to demonstrate critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership skills while offering attractive cash prizes and new opportunities to excel.

Following the success of the 2024 edition, the 2025 ECL builds on past achievements and promises an even more exciting experience. In the previous competition, standout performances from Federal Government Girls College, Abuloma, Seacrest Preparatory School, Aladumo International School, and Enitonna High School earned them cash prizes ranging from ₦1.5 million to ₦10 million.

Organizers now encourage even more schools to participate and showcase their students’ intellectual talents. Schools register by visiting the official ECL website between February 1 and 21, 2025. During registration, each school must provide the names and recent photographs of their student representatives.

The organizers allow substitutions later in the process if verifiable and compelling reasons emerge, ensuring a fair and flexible competition environment. The ECL quiz competition stands as a premier academic initiative that actively promotes literacy and critical thinking.

It challenges students to solve complex problems and work together, fostering collaboration and innovation. By participating, students gain not only academic recognition but also valuable experience that helps shape future leaders.

Teachers and school administrators also benefit, as the competition highlights academic excellence and inspires schools to invest in quality education. Since its inception, the Education Champions League has grown into one of Nigeria’s most recognized academic contests. It drives students to push their boundaries and demonstrates the power of teamwork in overcoming challenges.

With a focus on active learning and participation, the ECL cultivates an environment where academic achievements translate into real-world success. As registration opens, schools across Rivers State seize the chance to join this dynamic contest. The organizers believe the 2025 edition will strengthen the competition’s reputation and foster a renewed commitment to academic excellence.
