Fire Outbreaks at Onne Main Market: A Mysterious Case of Arson

A mysterious case of arson has been reported at the Onne main market in Rivers State, leaving a local businesswoman devastated and pleading for help.

According to eyewitnesses, the first fire outbreak occurred when a woman, who owns a mini supermarket at the market, noticed flames coming from her store. She immediately raised an alarm, and people in the surrounding area responded quickly to quench the fire. Fortunately, minimal damage was done.

However, in a shocking turn of events, another fire broke out at the same store just two days later. This time, the fire razed the entire shop, destroying goods worth approximately N2.3 million. The businesswoman, who had recently restocked her store, was left with nothing.

When questioned about the possible cause of the fire, the businesswoman initially suspected that she might have mistakenly left her stove on. However, after the second incident, she became convinced that the fires were intentionally set by someone seeking to destroy her business.

“It’s clear that someone is out to get me,” she said, visibly shaken. “I’m pleading for help from anyone who can assist me in getting back on my feet. I’ve lost everything I’ve worked for.”

As the businesswoman struggles to come to terms with her loss, she is counting on the kindness of strangers to help her rebuild her life and business.
