Obio-Akpor LGA Chairman Expands Team with 130 New Special Assistants

 

Port Harcourt, Rivers State – In a move to strengthen his administration, the Chairman of Obio-Akpor Local Government Area, Amb. Chijioke Ihunwo, has recently appointed 130 new special assistants. The announcement, made public through a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), underscores the Chairman’s commitment to expanding his team and enhancing service delivery within the local government area.

Amb. Ihunwo, in his announcement, emphasized the importance of diligent service from the newly appointed officials. He urged them to dedicate themselves to their roles and work collaboratively to address the needs of the Obio-Akpor community. 

The list of appointees includes notable individuals such as Helen Nyekwere, Josephine Wogu, Daisy Worgu, Wagwu Hilda, Ogbonna Stella, Goodness Ogbonna, and Grace Amadi, among others. These individuals are expected to bring diverse skills and experiences to their respective roles, contributing to the overall development and progress of the local government area.

This significant expansion of the Chairman’s team is anticipated to enhance the administrative capacity of the local government and improve service delivery to the residents of Obio-Akpor.
