The Abolga Students Database Collection and Verification Committee and the National Union of Abua-Odual Students Worldwide (NUABOS) have commended the Executive Chairman of Abua-Odual Local Government Council, Hon. Vincent Reuben Obu, for prioritizing human capital development of Abolga students nationwide.

According to the Chairman of the Database Verification Committee, Dr. Goodluck Owaks Miwari, the data collection and verification exercise currently ongoing in the council is a first-of-its-kind initiative since the council’s inception. Dr. Miwari described the exercise as “a right step in the right direction.”

The verification exercise, which kicked off with students from Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, aims to cover all students from various universities, polytechnics, colleges, seminaries, and other institutions. This initiative is designed to support the educational pursuits, dreams, and potentials of Abolga students.

Dr. Miwari explained that the database management committee is working tirelessly to ensure that all Abolga students are captured in the database. He noted that the exercise is not only aimed at gathering data but also at providing support to students in their academic endeavors.
