Mercy Chinwo and Husband Spread Joy in Rivers State with New Year Food Outreach

Residents of Rivers State, Nigeria, were filled with joy and gratitude as popular gospel artist Mercy Chinwo and her husband extended a generous hand of support to celebrate the New Year.

The couple, through their charity organization, the Mercy Is Blessed Foundation, organized a heartwarming outreach, visiting the Rumuodara community in Port Harcourt.

The outreach focused on uplifting the elderly, single mothers, and economically disadvantaged families within the community.

With an outpouring of love and care, the foundation distributed essential items, including bags of rice, garri, cartons of tomato paste, tubers of yam, and fabrics. In addition to food supplies, financial assistance was provided to meet both immediate and long-term needs.

Mercy Chinwo expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to make a difference, emphasizing the importance of demonstrating God’s love through action. “It is always a privilege to share God’s love in action and remind communities that they are seen, valued, and cared for,” she shared.

The Mercy Is Blessed Foundation continues to impact lives positively, one community at a time, with a vision of spreading hope and compassion. The initiative, which underscores service to humanity, was met with widespread appreciation, as beneficiaries were reminded that they are not alone in their struggle.
