By Tina Amanda

The C4i Strike Force (Octopus) of the Rivers State Police Command, led by Commander CSP Julian Igbudu, brought festive cheer to the streets of Port Harcourt in celebration of Christmas.

The team reached out to the less privileged, distributing food and gifts while reassuring them of their safety and well-being.

This initiative aligns with the humanitarian vision of the Rivers State Commissioner of Police and his management team, reflecting the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun’s emphasis on care, love, and global best practices in policing.

Speaking during the outreach, the team highlighted the significance of the visit, describing it as a step toward fostering stronger community ties.

The C4i Strike Force announced plans to launch another phase of the outreach on January 1, 2025, aiming to extend support to more indigent and needy individuals across the state.

CSP Igbudu and his team also called on organizations and well-meaning individuals to collaborate in supporting the less privileged, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in making a meaningful impact.

The Rivers State Police Command, through this gesture, reinforces its commitment to serving, protecting, and uplifting the community.
