Port Harcourt, Rivers State– Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has highlighted the importance of a conducive work environment. He emphasized that since assuming office, none of his cabinet members have experienced high blood pressure or been hospitalized due to work-related stress.
Speaking at a thanksgiving service for the State Secretary to the Government, Dr. Tammy Danagogo, in Abonnema Town, Fubara explained that he has deliberately fostered a positive work atmosphere to maximize the potential of his team. He believes that a toxic environment filled with tension, anxiety, and fear hinders productivity and can exacerbate underlying health conditions.

The Governor further stated that he avoids a confrontational leadership style, opting instead for a collaborative approach that encourages open communication and mutual respect. He praised Dr. Danagogo for his integrity and resilience, particularly in the face of pressure to resign.
Fubara assured his team that they would not be subjected to undue stress or fear, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. He expressed confidence that this positive work culture will contribute to the overall success of the Rivers State government.
