Rivers United Beats Kwara United

Rivers United Defeated Kwara United in a Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 17 showdown at the Adokiye Amiesimaka stadium in Port Harcourt.

Rivers United technical adviser, Finidi George, further lavished praise on his players for their outstanding display against Kwara United. The Pride of Rivers secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over their opponents at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt on Sunday.

George expressed his satisfaction with the team’s overall performance, highlighting their resilience, determination, and teamwork. He acknowledged that the win was a testament to the players’ hard work and dedication, and commended them for their ability to adapt to the game’s challenges.

I told them it was going to be a difficult game because last season Rivers United didn’t win so unfortunately we conceded and had to fight back which propelled us to make two quick changes to get the win.
