Mirror International School Director’s Wife Kidnapped

A shocking incident occurred at the entrance of a popularly known school in Rukpokwu, Mirror International School, Rukpokwu Port-Harcourt as the wife of the school’s director was kidnapped by armed men. The incident has sent shockwaves through the school community, leaving students, teachers, and parents in a state of panic and uncertainty.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident happened around 10:00 am when the victim was driving to the school. As she approached the school entrance, the kidnappers, who were reportedly armed with guns, blocked her path and threatened her. The victim, fearing for her safety, opened her car door, and the kidnappers dragged her out and took her to their waiting vehicle, which was parked nearby.

Eyewitnesses reported that the kidnappers fired shots into the air to disperse the crowd that had gathered, causing panic and chaos. “It was a terrifying scene,” said one eyewitness. “The kidnappers were armed and seemed to be well-organized. They didn’t give anyone a chance to intervene.” The eyewitnesses described the kidnappers as wearing masks and dark clothing, making it difficult to identify them.

The kidnappers have not yet made contact with the victim’s husband or the school authorities to demand a ransom. The police have been notified, and an investigation is currently underway to apprehend the kidnappers and rescue the victim. The school authorities have also increased security measures around the school to prevent any further incidents.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety and security of students and staff at the school. Parents have been expressing their worries and fears about the incident, and some have even considered withdrawing their children from the school. “I’m very worried about my child’s safety,” said one parent. “I don’t know how the kidnappers were able to get so close to the school without being detected.”

The school authorities have assured parents that they are doing everything possible to ensure the safety and security of their children. “We understand the concerns of our parents, and we want to assure them that we are taking all necessary measures to prevent any further incidents,” said the school’s principal. “We are working closely with the police and other security agencies to ensure that our school is safe and secure.”

The incident has also raised questions about the effectiveness of the school’s security measures. The school has a security team that is supposed to patrol the premises and ensure that everyone who enters the school is properly identified. However, it appears that the kidnappers were able to breach the school’s security measures without being detected.

The police have promised to do everything possible to rescue the victim and apprehend the kidnappers. “We are taking this incident very seriously, and we will do everything possible to rescue the victim and bring the kidnappers to justice,” said the police spokesperson. “We urge anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist us in our investigation.”
