Enugu Rangers Beats Rivers United

In a thrilling encounter, Enugu Rangers secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Rivers United in their Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Round 16 match on Sunday. The highly anticipated clash, dubbed the “star game of the weekend,” took place at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, with the reigning champions, Rangers, emerging victorious against the 2022 champions, Rivers United.

Remo Stars took advantage of Rivers United’s slip-up, securing a 2-0 win over El Kanemi Warriors in Ikenne to leapfrog Rivers United and assume the top spot in the league.
