Timaya Shares Why Marriage Isn’t a Priority To Him

Popular Nigerian singer Timaya has shared insights into his decision to remain unmarried despite his successful music career. In a recent interview with Naija FM, the artist revealed that marriage has never been a priority for him, emphasizing that he has never felt a natural inclination toward it.

“I’ve never been a married guy right from time but it can change because marriage ‘dey craze’? I just look at it like if I marry today, would I be able to get out? In all my previous relationships, I was the one who got out because I don’t like stress,” Timaya explained.

The singer attributed his hesitation about marriage to his strong desire for personal freedom and his aversion to stress. Despite his current stance, Timaya did not entirely dismiss the possibility of marriage in the future.
