Mercy Aigbe, the award-winning Nollywood actress, has been left devastated after a severe fire destroyed her Lagos residence.
The fire, which engulfed her luxurious property, reduced valuable possessions to nothing but ashes, leaving Aigbe heartbroken.
In a video posted on her official Instagram page on Wednesday night, the actress shared her grief but also expressed deep gratitude that no lives were lost in the inferno.

“Devastated, but I thank God no life was lost. It is well,” Aigbe wrote, prompting an outpouring of support from her fans and colleagues.
The fire, which caused significant damage to the property, has raised concerns as sources suggest the disaster may have been preventable, making the emotional toll on Aigbe even harder to bear. Official statements regarding the cause of the fire have yet to be made by authorities.
