Montego Celebrates Key Role in Port Harcourt Refinery Rehabilitation Success

As the Port Harcourt Refinery marks a milestone in its revitalization, Montego, a leading Nigerian energy servicing company, proudly announces its instrumental role as a key subcontractor in this historic achievement.

Montego’s involvement spanned the full spectrum of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Installation, and Commissioning (EPCIC) activities. The transformative project, boasting over 16 million cumulative manhours, saw Montego contribute nearly 6 million manhours—an accomplishment achieved with zero Loss Time Injury (LTI). This exceptional safety record underscores Montego’s dedication to world-class standards and operational excellence.

Acknowledging the support and leadership of stakeholders, Montego’s management commended the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and the Federal Government for their unwavering commitment to energy security. The company also expressed gratitude to Tecnimont, the main contractor, for fostering seamless collaboration.
