Outrage as Kiddwaya’s Fans Raise Funds for For Him to Buy iPhone 16

Despite being out of the BBNaija house, Kiddwaya still enjoys the unwavering support of his fanbase. Recently, his die-hard supporters came together to raise funds for the reality star to purchase the newly released iPhone 16.

Kiddwaya shared screenshots of the credit alerts he received on social media, showing contributions ranging from ₦5,000 to ₦20,000. This act of generosity, however, stirred up controversy online, with many netizens expressing disbelief over fans sending money to a billionaire’s son.

Comments on social media reflected the widespread outrage:

  • “Donating money for a billionaire’s child is crazyyyyy,” wrote @oluwa_fola1.
  • chi_artistry22 wrote, “Forget about show off. This guy is broke. Yes his father is rich but he’s not spending his money on his children. He only use his money to enjoy life”
  • queen_exta wrote, “Who kukuma needs an iPhone 13 Pro Max, I no get am but it’s the thought that counts”
  • chefnshopper wrote, “Even the rich deserve a little bit of kindness. Sometimes they just want to know what it feels like to be on the receiving end. Possible he will return the monev double”
  • lulurichie wrote, “Omo before una wise Ehnn I go don almost die contributing money for a billionaire son chai who do us like this na how like how”

  • nkebem_ godsgrace wrote, Who needs a tekno spark 10 pro I wan exchange am for garri”
  • keri_smila wrote, “Is this a joke…someone who travels anytime he likes has money to buy more than 3 people an iPhone 16

Others questioned the logic behind the donations, criticizing the disconnect between struggling fans and a wealthy celebrity.

This incident has fueled debates about fan culture and priorities, with many wondering why fans would donate to someone who seemingly has the resources to afford luxuries on his own.
