Popular Nigerian music video director and cinematographer, ThankGod Omori, widely known as TG Omori, has provided fans with an update on his health, promising a full return to his career in 2025.

Omori has voiced his eagerness to return to creating the music videos that have made him a household name in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

The announcement came through a series of tweets shared on his verified X account, where he also posted a recent photo of himself.

Omori, who has been facing significant health challenges, wrote, “It’s mind over matter. He previously shared a post, stating that although he’s unable to physically show his gratitude to God, such as performing a backflip, he continues to improve and is focused on fighting through the ordeal.

His temporary absence from the public eye has only heightened the worry, but his latest post has reassured fans that he remains determined to overcome his health challenges and make a triumphant comeback in 2025.

The director first made headlines in August when he revealed that he had undergone a kidney transplant at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos, expressing deep gratitude to his only brother, who donated one of his kidneys to save his life.

However, shortly after, Omori disclosed that the transplant had failed, and he has since been recovering from complications related to the surgery.

The director expressed deep appreciation for the support he has received from both fans and his peers in the music industry, as their encouragement has given him strength during this difficult period.
