In a recent interview on the ‘Morning Rush Show’ with Bibi Rai, renowned Nigerian rapper Falz opened up about what he finds most attractive in a woman.
He also revealed that he hasn’t been in a romantic relationship since he was 18 years old.
Discussing his preferences, Falz shared that his interest in women has evolved beyond physical appearance. He said, “My last relationship was when I was 18, back in 2008. I’m not avoiding relationships, but it’s been a whirlwind for various reasons. I just haven’t felt ready. It’s about the aura, the energy, the swag. I’m no longer focused on superficial attributes like light skin or big breasts. It’s the kind of energy a person exudes that matters to me now.”
Falz also mentioned that he’s being cautious about choosing the right partner, admitting that his parents, especially his father, Femi Falana, are pressuring him to get married.
However, he remains firm in not succumbing to this pressure. “I’m not yet married. I’m single in a stupor. My dad expresses concern over my marital status daily. If I greet him good morning, he would say the morning would be good if you were married.
“Both my mum and dad are deeply concerned, although my dad pressures me the most. No one can pressure me into getting married, not even my dad.”
The singer further explained that his last serious relationship was during his undergraduate days, highlighting the challenges his celebrity status poses in finding the right woman for marriage.
“Currently, I’m not dating anyone. I’m a straight man. I like women. But for a while now, I haven’t experienced a serious relationship. I was still in the university the last time I had a serious relationship.
“My lifestyle as a celebrity makes it difficult to find someone to commit to. Also, there are a lot of happenings in the industry that make balancing a booming career and a healthy relationship seem difficult. So because of that, I’m trying to be careful. There’s no issue. I’m just trying to be careful.”
